as design is always evolving, and taking the same principle with previous scheme, i tried to develop a more fluid and closer-to-nature architectural form. i explored possibilities of forms using Rhino, and generated the basic form.

After discussions with Martin Knight (Knight Architects) and Ho-Yin Ng (Amanda Levete Architects), i did a quick social study for this bridge project. it is kind of a personal reflection and self imagination with what i want to do as an admirer of Oxford’s beautiful and breathtaking River Thames.
After a couple of alternatives, I have documented the chosen one.

An annual event in River Thames.. the main event of inter-college rowing races

the main purpose of this development (yellow color) is to bridge connectivity between industrial states and housing.
April 2014.
I love the inner layers of this purple cabbage. I had this shot accidentally, due to some error when preparing salad. Been trying to imagine to use this as a design concept, but just do not have the project to implement. Inspirational source from nature, what not to like!
April 2014. I am quite into cooking probably because I love taking pictures, food is one of the simplest object. My antidote after a long day of reading. My skills are rather mediocre, nothing special, just love to do the research and implement basic recipes. I do admire David Loftus too, Jamie Oliver’s food photographer and buddy 🙂
