Both of our quadcopters are unwell at the moment, we are waiting for the new bits and bobs from Taobao! Thank you CHome Service for the Taobao support.
Update: currently we have the third quadcopter, the F330.
Cinta (Matt) flew it on campus today. It weighs close to nothing, 103gram in total (with the propeller guards and a tiny camera). We think it is the most sensible way for me to start with, before graduating to Cinta’s (more powerful) quadcopter. Baby steps!

ICoRD (International Conference on Research into Design) 2015. Bangalore, India.
The poster was presented after the brief podium presentation; during tea time.

I submitted a proposal for an artwork competition, organised by the library.
The idea came on one fine afternoon, I had a chat with Matt about his surplus chain he was holding. His brand spanking new titanium chain. And I said “what can we do with that?”
A poster about my research I did for a poster competition in July 2014. Good fun, good experience with friends:)

Lix, the sleek 3d printing pen which let you doddle in the air! It looks like a pen and a successor of the previous (and first) 3d printing pen, 3Doodler. Having it all handy!
A throwback and also can be found in my old post, I had some great experience in 3d prototypes when I was doing my master’s degree, in different scale (1:150 and 1:500).
The FoSE ( Science and Engineering Faculty) poster competition day. Good day, good experience and lesson learnt!
There is an upcoming PhD students poster competition held by the faculty. Posters have been submitted yesterday and they’ll be put on boards on Friday. I’d rather call it as ‘research showcase’, because of the opportunity to talk to people and peers about research is more valid.
So yes, say Hi this Friday 25 April 2014, anytime between 9-12am, SEB (Science and Engineering Building). Please pop along if you have a bit of free time. Lil birdie says that snacks+drinks will be provided!
A quickie poster by me about my research. Bfn.
